Nippers Pub 1205 Delsea Dr Westville, NJ 08093 (856) 384-1970 I went out to Nippers a few weeks ago and it kind of sucked.  I asked a bunch of ladies if I could take their picture and they told me to go screw.  I was a bit miffed, but instead of taking it out on the bar, I decided to give it a second chance. Unfortunately, Nippers is not what I thought.  What sounded like a really cool strip club, turned out to be an ordinary bar.  Not only did all of the women have their shirts on, but by the looks of most of the women in there, I was glad they did.   It was a Tuesday night and I met a few friends there for quiz night.  I was hoping to use my near infinite knowledge of all subjects to destroy the competition and earn free beer and a $25 gift certificate.  The problem was, there was only one subject; movies.  There was no sports round, or any questions about normal topics like history, science, politics, current events, etc…  And the questions were unreasonably difficult.  This isn’t to say that we didn’t hold out own, but we couldn’t complete with teams that had like 10 people on them.  Cheating bastards! None of this really mattered to me though, because there were $1 bottles until midnight.  This was all I really cared about anyway.  For only $10 or so, I was pretty much set.  And the food there wasn’t bad either.  I had a nice healthy plate of fries smothered with cheese and fried onions for only $3.25.  It went perfectly with all of the however many Yuenglings I drank.  There was a whole menu of sandwiches and stuff, all of it reasonable priced. The bar was up against the back wall and was a decent size.  In front of the bar there were the usual high top tables and a good number of normal tables beyond that.   There is also an outside bar, but being that it is October, it was closed.  There were about 7 tv’s spread out around the bar, with at least two larger screen projection type tv’s, so if it wasn’t quiz night, it would be a decent place to watch sports.  The bar was also pretty dimly lit, which was probably a good thing. Good point about the bar:  They have a lot of entertainment, like bands and quiz night. Bad point about the bar:  There was nothing in the bar to entertain people when there wasn’t an event scheduled, like pool tables. White trash factor (1-10):  7 Ratio of girls to guys: 1:3 Crowd density:  medium – which isn’t bad for a Tuesday.  On weekends it is usually medium high to high Age of the crowd: thirties to fifties:   Overall rating:  6 – The bar was decent as a local bar, if you just wanted to go out for a beer in the middle of the week.
